"To be the best sports person you can, regardless of whether you are a weekend warrior or aspiring Olympian, it is vital that you are physically prepared. You need to think about all aspects of your training, ranging from your warm-up and cool-down to the type (weights, cardio, endurance, flexibility etc) and amount of training that is most appropriate for your sport and level of activity. Did you know that too much training can be just as harmful as too little! To help avoid injury, maintain interest and work your body in different ways (to allow it to adapt to new challenges), mix up your regular routine and try a variety of activities.
